HORNBLOWER OFFERS SPOOKTASTIC CRUISES FOR HALLOWEEN FUN IN OCTOBER

Spooky Halloween River Cruises on Saturday and Sunday Evenings in October are safe alternative for families

Sacramento, California (October 2, 2013) – Calling all pirates, princesses, superheroes and witches!  Kids can celebrate Halloween up to 9 times this month on one of Hornblower’s Spooky Halloween River Cruises in Old Sacramento.  Sailing on Saturday and Sunday evenings, families can cruise the Sacramento River while reveling with Halloween-themed music and decorations.

As a fun and safe alternative to trick-or-treating, there will be plenty of playful spookiness for children of all ages, from themed coloring sheets to party favors.  Hornblower hasn’t forgotten the fun for parents either; a snack bar with soda, wine and beer will be available for purchase onboard.  Parents can sit back, relax and enjoy the sunset, while their children enjoy their Halloween fun nearby.

And parents, don’t forget your camera!  Hornblower will be hosting an onboard costume contest.  Take pictures of your children decked out in all their Halloween finery and upload them to the Hornblower Cruises & Events Sacramento Facebook wall. Each weekend, a winning photo of the most creative family will be selected to win a family-four pack of tickets for our December Santa River Cruises.
