Salsa Cook-Off Teambuilding Cruise

Who in your group is the salsa guru? Put them to the test! Each team will be given all the supplies they need to come up with their own authentic salsa, and then a team judges the tasty results. Participants must be creative, because they will also be judged on their company logo and commercial!

Salsa Cook-off Team Building Program:

Teams will compete against one another to make the best salsa!

Each team will have one hour to create a unique salsa using ingredients from the on-board marketplace. Then, they'll come up with a company logo and a name for the salsa (using poster board), and produce a commercial or a slogan to sell their creation. Teams will be judged on all three components before hors d’oeuvres are served. Hornblower team members will judge the salsa, logo/company name and commercials, and guests will get to sample the different salsas during lunch.

Details:

* As your guests board, they will be split up into teams (groups of 5 guests work best).

* An on-board coordinator will explain the friendly competition, answer any questions and keep the group on track with time.

* Teams choose a captain to keep the group on track and one person to do the "shopping" at the on-board market. (Hornblower provides the marketplace food).

* When the first hour is up, each team will present its salsa, logo/company name and commercial performance.

* Winners receive one (1) Seafarers Pass each (good for a Harbor Tour or Whale Watching).

* Service charge and tax are additional. A 30-guest minimum applies. Cruises must end by 6 PM. Additional charges apply for evening cruises.

We had a great time working together as a team making the salsa, building a team name and creating our matching outfits. It was a lot of fun and it was such a beautiful day out and a wonderful experience and we would all like to thank Hormblower Cruises for putting together such a wonderful event.
