The trip was a blast! We saw several groups of whales, Navy ships, a submarine and much much more. Captain Rick was great too.

We had a wonderful time - the 'captain' was excellent - very informative and we felt very safe with him 'driving'! We saw a lot of dolphins, etc. and did get to see a bunch of whales (yeah!) before heading back to port. Once again, your captain was EXCELLENT!

– Annette G

Great cruise. Great crew. Beautiful weather. Couldn't have asked for anything better. I've lived in San Diego for 37 years and have never been on a whale watching cruise (if you can believe that) so this was a wonderfully anticipated experience.

Knowing it was early in the year for Whale Migration, what a treat it was to see a grey Whale. Capt. Bill and his crew were very professional and very respectful of the whale and very informative. We enjoyed it very much.

Every year I take students whale watching and I have tried different companies. Hornblower, You are the best. This year, I took a group of 100 students and (we) were lucky to have seen whales. The "adventure" is the best vessel I've gone whale watching on. The size helps so the rocking of the waves does not feel too harsh on them. The space is perfect so people can move around. Everyone was delighted

Your whole staff was wonderful. As we returned we spotted another whale. I never expected the Captain to turn the boat around for one more final try at seeing a whale. It's great to see a company truly live up to your expectations. The sights were amazing.

– Christopher S

I really liked that even though we saw plenty of dolphins, because we didn't see whales, we get to go again for free. Thank you!

Thanks for your help. The seniors had a wonderful time. It's not often they all agree our outings were great. This one was a winner.

– Jean C.

I took a friend of mine on the San Diego Whale Watching Trip on Sunday the 28 on the 1:30 PM Trip. We saw many whales, and I believe it was a Humpback Whale that breached so many times, I lost track! One time it was a full breach about 40 yards out from the side of the boat! The Crew was great and I thank them! I did get a picture of a tail, but the timing is the trick! Thanks again.
