During the early days of California statehood, miners headed to the hills for gold and riverboats ran up and down the Sacramento River. Today, the Empress Hornblower evokes that same era. Interior décor is inspired by stylish turn-of-the-century paddleboats, with ornate chandeliers, mahogany bars and gleaming dance floors. The main deck seats 80 to 100 guests for dining, while up to 70 can mingle on the upper level.
