Hornblower Adds 700 Passenger San Francisco Spirit To Bay Area Fleet

San Francisco (December 9, 2009) – Hornblower Cruises & Events, California’s largest charter yacht and dinner cruise company, has added a new yacht to its fleet.

The M/V San Francisco Spirit, a 137-foot long, 700-passenger yacht was recently purchased from its previous owner, Signature Events. The Spirit, which was built in 1991, was added to Hornblower’s existing fleet of eight vessels on December 8. 

“The Spirit is a sleek yacht with contemporary styling that will be perfect for many events – from weddings, to corporate events to gala celebrations,” commented Hornblower Bay Area General Manager Annabella Stagner. “Hornblower has been providing exceptional experiences on the bay for 30 years, and we look forward to welcoming more guests on board this Bay Area favorite.”

The unique Hornblower San Francisco fleet includes the San Francisco Belle, a 2,200-passenger paddle-wheel style vessel, the 1,000-passenger California Hornblower and the 150-passenger Hornblower Hybrid, a unique plug-in hybrid powered charter vessel, as well as yachts ranging in size from 25 to 300 passenger capacity.
