Bow Wow Brunch Cruise on the Bay Coming Sept. 20th

September 1, 2009

Dogs WELCOME on the Exclusive Hornblower Brunch Benefitting Helen Woodward Animal Center

SAN DIEGO - September 20th, 2009 marks a unique day and a very “dog-gone” interesting event on Hornblower Cruises & Events. The Bow Wow Brunch Cruise on the Bay is a first of its kind in San Diego to raise money and awareness about orphaned pets at Helen Woodward Animal Center (HWAC).

Nicknamed the Bow Wow Brunch Cruise, Sept. 20th will be just like any wonderful Sunday Champagne Brunch Cruise, but for one special day we welcome you, your family and your pooch aboard. You will enjoy the same delicious and bountiful buffet that you are accustom to with free flowing champagne, mimosas and desserts with one caveat- Fido gets a canine buffet to pick out puppy snacks and valuable coupons sponsored by PETCO.  He can also enjoy his own “dog relief walk” sponsored by Easy Turf and set up on the sun deck of the yacht! Jack FM Morning Show’s Sara will also be there to meet and greet!

The Bow Wow Brunch Cruise is open to the public and boarding is at 10:30 a.m. The two hour cruise is from 11 am - 1 pm. Check in on the day of the event will be at the Hornblower Ticket Booth, 1066 N. Harbor Drive, Downtown. Join Hornblower Cruises, the Port of San Diego, PETCO, and Easy Turf to support HWAC’s work in pet adoptions.

All dogs must be manageable and on a leash to attend and only one dog per adult is allowed. Adult tickets are $59.95 per person plus tax and gratuity. Dogs cruise free! For more information and reservations call 619-686-8715 or visit
