Blue Angels to highlight the festivities

San Francisco, CA - San Francisco’s Fleet Week features dazzling fireworks displays and flights by the world-famous Blue Angels – and Hornblower Cruises & Events gives guests a front-row seat for the shows with several Fleet Week cruises on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 8-10, 2010.

The San Francisco Bay is the best place to catch all the action, from morning practice flights to headline shows to evening events complete with fireworks sparkling over the water. Guests can kick the weekend off early on the Friday Blue Angels Practice Lunch Cruise, which includes a buffet, free-flowing champagne and views of planes in flight. Saturday and Sunday, the schedule is packed with dining cruises that showcase the thrilling twists and turns of these awesome aircraft. In the evening, Dinner Dance and Supper Club Cruises combine gourmet fare, dancing under the stars and, on Saturday, unparalleled views of fireworks over the bay.

Hornblower’s Fleet Week cruises depart from Hornblower Landing (Pier 3 on San Francisco’s Embarcadero), and each sets out on one of the company’s comfortable, well-appointed yachts. For a complete list of cruises, schedules and ticketing information, or to learn more about Hornblower’s daily cruises and private charters, visit or call 888-HORNBLOWER (888-467-6256).

Please note, Hornblower cannot guarantee that the Blue Angels will fly. If weather prevents an air show, no refunds for Fleet Week cruises are available.
