Hornblower San Diego offers a rare, refined on-land option for special events: The Abbey. Originally constructed as an Episcopal church, this elegant 1910 landmark is San Diego’s only remaining Classic Revival structure and today is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The 10,000-square-foot Abbey houses winding dark-wood balconies, magnificent arched windows and antique light fixtures, plus a stained glass dome where sunshine streams in.

The Abbey is a gorgeous option for banquets, wedding receptions, proms and other special celebrations. It accommodates up to 300 guests for seated and 475 for strolling events, and includes an on-site kitchen for catered affairs.
